We have been a bit silent over the past few weeks, but we are now bursting back on
the scene with a few new and exciting articles.
First of all, we welcome a new contributor, Gary White, whose passion for Chilean
wines knows no bounds. Check out his choice of our wine of the month (Chilean, of
course).
Kathleen Burk continues with part 4 of her intriguing The History of Wine, this time
concentrating on the late middle ages and the renaissance. This month’s Wine Odyssey
sees Neil Fairlamb imbibing at the mouth of the Tagus, in Portugal, whilst he also
reports on the tasting that made him change his mind about Cava.
Sarah Ahmed’s day with Eben Sadie features our Winemaker of the month, a man with
a growing international reputation, whilst I sing the praises of a wine list in Chelsea,
a great seafood restaurant in Sarasota and a great value hotel in Alba.
Happy eating, happy drinking and happy travelling
